Schools in my country

Schools in my country

Why do all the children in my country have to get up at 7 or 8 o'clock in the mornings till Monday to Friday? Even if they are tired, happy or angry.

Students in Spain start compularry school at the age of 6-5 ( five if they were born in December, November or October). And students start secondary school at the age of 12-(11).
Here in Spain we have to prepare for “Competències bàsiques” at the age of 12 in the last course of primary school and another test in 4th of ESO at the age of 16.

When students arrive at secondary school they study 10 subjects including Maths, Sapnish or Science that are compulsory and German or French that are optative.

My favourite subject is English but is a bit difficult. I also play football 3 days a week and I go to gym once a week.
In my opinion students in Spain dan’t like school because it’s boring, difficult and hard but I think students who study, do tthey homework every day and attend in class are well preparated when they finish secondary school.
